Crimson 16.3

messed up all my icons 50+ icons all in the top left corner are we back to that again :cry:


and had one crash with these on a web page video has to push reset :hmm:

set power efficiency to off and has not happened again
 
After installing I had one monitor stuck at 720x576 which forced all the other monitor to revert to that as they are in eyefinity.

Falling back to triple head display, I could not get the 3rd monitor out of 720x576...disable/re-enabling turning it off, rebooting nothing wored
It was recognised correctly in device manager.

I had to physically disconnect the display and reboot then plug in before I could select 1920x1080 again...
 
Thats weird, Bitey. My Eyefinity setup worked just like normal after removing 16.2.1, reboot, install 16.3.
 
Had to wipe old drivers with the cleaners, then reinstall these, that worked, however, I am getting random corruption in firefox. :hmm:

You mean the control for predefined CF-settings or some cases where the clock still drops?
Any way tanks for heading up :)

Btw, I don't think the CF-profile for Hitman is in it yet? I don't see it listed and the game currently running in Single GPU mode.

Clockdropping solved, it was v-ync with double buffering :D
I believed AFR ie SLI/CF was never affected with this, but it seems to make a change :eek: Tb+v)sysn or disable v-sync, and no frameratecap and my GPU''s are nicely (full loaded).

The half of my collection of games (dx9) is saved by Radeonpro, again :D Triple buffering, v-sync, it fixed everything :) Never thought that brilliant piece of software still doing wonders in win 10.

Screen drops outs are a lot more frequent with these drivers for me.
Almost every boot I have fiddle to get all monitors displaying.

Though WOT seems to run a lot better than I previously remembered?...
 
Although I initially installed OTT of the previous set, the app would not start after completing the installation and a reboot. Tried yet another reboot, still no go.

Had to do an uninstall, cleaned the registry, reboot, then installed 16.3 and it works.

I revisited the 16.3 driver last Saturday. I did a clean install of them after installing all my Windows updates. At first they didn't seem any different from the previous Vulkan betas, I had toggled the new Power Efficiency button to off after installing but before rebooting. Then after rebooting and starting FAH a straggler win update popped up and I did a second reboot. Everything's better before using gpu-z monitoring to a log file under Gpu load the bar would show 100% but the log clearly showed a lot more 99% . With the 16.3 driver those 99% are now 100% tpf is up ppd is up I'm often around 400k now. Better framerates in games as well. Temps are up a bit too around 56-58c. Hands down the best Fury X driver to date on my system anyways.
Checking out the 16.3.1 driver now.

I really need to get my taxes done and back everything up. Way overdue for a clean install. Maybe time to give Win 10 a shot.
 
I had the handshake audio drop issue for a while but the last 16.1 driver fixed it. its back with 16.3
