I love how they name these "Non-WHQL-64Bit-Radeon-Software-Crimson-16.3-Win10-Win8.1-Win7-March9.exe"

I'm hopeful that the Power Saving disabling feature will solve the occasional screen corruption that occurs at idle. Does anyone have information on whether this setting targets that particular issue?

Well AMD seems a very "good" student now.
On the nvidia side i like the release notes when they group it like "Non-nvidia issues" ... Somehow i like more the more information that they put in the release notes.

There is a problem with Fury series that can't get sustained performance because of the frequencies variations durring gaming. This resulted in choppy playing and more stuttering and possible screen corruption.

*Edit*
I was wrong except for this part,. Installed an app called Flash Control to deal with the issue below.

The Feb 25th beta had the annoying fan sticks at 99% could trigger it everytime just by loading the Dragon's Dogma Wiki page and wait for the inevitable shockwave crash reload page and listen to the fan slowly ramp up to 99%.
Chrome with it's built in flash hardware acceleration on/off didn't matter.

Just installed 16.3 after cleaned 16.2 and worked as expected. I tried the power efficiency turned off and tested on Serious Sam BFE. It was noticeable, but not exactly full clock, but still much better than what it used to be. I'll stick to 16.3 from now. :)

That new toggle power efficiency doesn't work for me, if anything going by gpu-z it's worse when toggled off. I now see periodic 2 second gaps along with the usual 1 second drop in gpu load. Load drops are all over the spectrum. percentage wise and with increased frequency with FAH.

I'm not even going to try gaming with these back to the Feb 17th Vulcan beta. Those are the only driver that provides constant 100% gpu load gaming and/or running FAH.

Its only for 390/fury.

Doent anyone read the release notes?

Yeah, it's a bug, actually if anyone owns 7xxx series. It's not supposed to be there in the settings. But only for 300/Fury series.

Gah Thanks I forgot to update my profile I've had 2 Fury X's since July.

Now the choose another predefined CF-profile line is completly gone

Also still some core clock dropping in dx9-games, mostly the second GPU ~500 mhz.
And,.. some older games refuse to perform more then 39.9 fps in 5K, demanding or not, among them quite a lot UE3-games.

Edit, the choose another predefined CF-profile line is back, after resising the crimson settings window. The scrollbar was missing, maybe due windows scaling, I'm on 250%.

As a reminder power efficiency is a GLOBAL setting :-) not per game(yet)

Yes I know that and its good enough for me, but it won't work everywhere:

Also redefining an other CF profile, for example Skyrim to Fear wont work, although I got the line back.
