Your heart isn't as warm as my basement wall, I'm sure.

The rest of your post adds up with why I'm getting the strange log messages.

I folded with two computers for nearly two years and barely got 90k points - but nearly 4k work units. My work unit today took 90 minutes and increased my overall score by nearly 10%. I'm addicted to stats. Anyway - I think this is a testament to how much more powerful our PCs are today than they were 15 years ago.

Heh he emailed me Sunday he tried changing his email address in the cp instead of asking a mod to do it and never got the validation email. He can't respond to you right now. I PM'ed Lupine and Trunks0 and pasted what he sent me. Hopefully it gets resolved soon. He still can see what you posted though.

I think I read in the Site Suggestions section that the email validation has been broken for three years or something... whenever the last new user signed up. Just looked. September 2017.

Well I jumped ahead of Mr. Gregor. Only thing holding me back right now is a lack of WUs to chew on.

My little HP notebook can only scratch 40,000PPD before it pulls performance settling around 39k.

Forgot how noisy this box is when its pushing WUs lol. Methinks I'll be moving it out from under my office desk. :lol:
 
Still feeling the server issues but I seem to be getting more WUs today. The number of active users on the team has doubled in the last week, that's awesome! And Lupine's back too! It just took some mandatory indoor time away from our real lives and we came flocking back here, huh :bleh:
 
Hi there, I haven't folded for years, but Coronavirus has got me started again.

Fired up all sorts of computers and got a couple of video cards in there as well, nothing fancy though, RX460 and a 1050GTX

RX460 is getting 101,000 PPD, 1050GTX is getting 190,000 PPD

Got an old i7-6700HQ laptop that is getting 27,000 PPD - Pulling 35W

Son's new laptlop with i5-8265 is getting 22,000 PPD and only pulling 15W

Thanks Jim. Moved summer of 2018, when my wife accepted a teaching position down here in Grants Pass, OR. Seems like we're on the "stay somewhere for five years" plan. :nuts:

Web Control page (client.foldingathome.org) is stuck in a loading loop. All cores are pushing 100%, so appears to be working, but what's up w/ Web Control?

edit: Loads up in Edge just fine. Chrome is the issue, apparently.

Welp, haven't folded in forever, but I started it up last night, managed to pick up a WU before I went to bed and ran it all night. Letting the room cool down for a bit after I finished my latest WU for the day and it wasn't connecting to a new one, feel a little bad taking a break, but will kick it back into gear in a few hours here. Sounds like a jet liner when all my fans kick on to cool it down. :lol:

Might pull an old computer out and see if I can get it running on a Steam box. Think that's the OS I have installed on it.

Yes - my system is processing two work units simultaneously (sometimes), one for the CPU the other for the GPU.

I remember 1920 x 1080i - How?? from my folding days. I never learned who it actually was, but they were number 1 by a huge margin when I was paying attention. A decade ago. Plus some years.
 
Not seeing any CPU units today, but both my GPU's are running

Quite a bit of variation in work units PPD from yesterday

RX460 is at 130,000 PPD
1050GTX is at 171,000 PPD
