In case it wasn't clear from the above...those are for DX 12 (and win 10!)

Don't take this as a complaint. I would advise anyone who is excited about the Divisions CFX fix to just go ahead, and temper that excitement right now. So far, everyone who has tried it is reporting negative scaling, like super negative scaling, and really bad stuttering. On the plus side, they fixed the flicker.

Personally, I tried 1,2,and 3 cards and with CFX enabled I had sub 20 fps quite frequently. Yeah 3 cards at 1080p with <20 fps, that is pretty bad. Just no reason to use CFX yet for AMD in this game, and it might just be nothing AMD can do.

The Division crossfire profile is **** poor. Flickering gone but I get worse fps on 2 cards than on 1 card, and the scaling is a joke. Plus, there's a constant stutter to the game now. Bravo everyone involved, you did great at teasing us with a half baked fix.

Negative scalling, very very negative. And instead off flickering its stuttery and blurry as hell. Radeon Crimson is a joke too many for us crossfire users. One that seals the deal for me.

Spent some more time with the division. Subsurface light scattering and resolution scale beyond 100% breaks the graphics. With Subsurface light scattering set to off and res scale 100% or below, the game doesnt flicker or blur while moving. However scaling is very bad, very bad framerates. I have to wonder whether amd is buying positive driver reviews, because crimson has been the worst drivers I have ever experienced while owning radeons. very unhappy customer.

Well bill your the only one on 3 forums to say it works, I guess be happy?

I used the Upgrade option and lost the Right Click/AMD Radeon option. Will try to install again to see if it comes back. Otherwise, it seems a total uninstall and fresh installation is needed. (At least in my case.)

This has resulted in about an hour's worth of trouble on my system!

I first opted to use the Upgrade option from 16.4.1. But, after a Restart, the AMD Radeon Settings option was missing from my Right Click on the desktop list.

I then opted to use the Uninstall option from the installer. Again, followed by a Restart.

Upon getting back into Windows, I went to the list of drivers in the AMD directory and selected the 16.4.2 setup option. This prompted for another Restart....

Upon which I was greeted with....

Which was followed by....

Without panicking, I opted to simply go to Windows 10. Which, after about 10 minutes, I finally got back into Windows.

Upon which, I opted to Uninstall the 16.4.2 drivers using the AMD Installer from the Computer iist....only to be told that there were no devices installed!

I'm now back on 16.4.1 with AMD Radeon Settings where it belongs.

drivers are working fine for me, but the last iterations of AMD's gpu software is not for the light hearted.

I mean, I'm kind of sick I have to do beta testing for these people, their stuff is clearly not ready, there is a bunch of minor yet pesky annoyances (tell me why I still can't get the taskbar to appear on one monitor at startup and I have to go through a painstaking procedure to get it back everytime I boot) and the separation between the new interface and old CCC is an abomination.
I now have to poke into three different places to configure things right: Crimson interface, CCC and Windows display properties. Pls don't go on trying to convince me this is a smart design choice.
Installing drivers is a f***ing chore everytime

Also, as an ex multi-gpu fan, I'm feeling really sorry for Crossfire users :yep:

Forgive my bitching, I've been giving AMD my money for well over 10 years and love their cards (having a blast with their 390X), but it's been over four months of this Crimson experience and by roaming various forums I say we should be getting something better by now, ffs.

Continuing upgrade from 16.3-16.3.1-16.3.2-16.4.1-16.4.2 so far so good. Oddly enough I just recieved notice that an upgrade is available 16.3.2. :bleh:

So we are never going to have extensive video settings again?
Even if I open ccc I find nowhere for them now.

Radeontraytools, radeonpro and rage3d tweak are all dead.

Games which are exclusive MS DX12 Windows 10 only bullshit i don't buy nor i buy any sucky port from console including Division. Everything else i play is awesome, available on Steam and Crossfire works great on it.

Although the entry is showing up in the Right Click option, so far, nothing I've tried for the past three days is letting it actually open. I have no access to any settings whatsoever...beyond the Windows Display options.

?

they are in the CCC stub (display, more settings)

That is the old ccc layout, but several tabs on the left are missing. Video, gaming and performance are the ones I am looking for.

Used to use this one quite a bit:

Now the only options on the left are presets, desktop management, audio and My digital flat pannels.

I am not finding any way to modify the values with these new drivers.
