Catalyst 14.11.2 Beta

I've encountered weird issues with Arma 3 and those drivers

after alt-tab the rendering hangs or process hangs

still investigating the cause if it's not ours bug but it was ok with the previous driver (the one before 14.11.1)
 
Dwarden: As a player/consumer i find it funny that is so much struggle optimizing games for just the two BIG manufacturers... I am curious what's your opnion if there were more players in this high end vga market?I see AC: Unity as plain example of a big disaster and the consoles are more or less GCN architecture like some AMD desktop card...When i looked at minimal system requirments of this game my first thought was that Ubisoft wants to get revenge on PC gamers...
 
There's an update to the driver:

Anybody knows what changed!?
 
Sorry for some reason my card was set at 445 mhz core clock and like 500 memory... Yet my voltage and power limit settings stayed the same...Hate that ****.
 
Pfffffffffft where is the driver with crossfire for FC4 ffs, pfffffffft :nag:


EDIT: and proper functioning ULPS ffs! ;) :D :hmm:
 
I'm probably reverting back to the 14.9.2 beta. I'm still seeing graphical corruption in Civ-BE as well as in Firefox and Chrome although to a lesser degree than was in the 14.11.1 beta.
No browser stopped responding or driver has stopped responding and has recovered errors yet.

First thing I do is to disable ULPS, the most useless feature ever. You are not saving any power...just disable ULPS and enjoy both card running as they should.
 
My eyefinity blackscreens everytime i try to set it up when using this driver. Happenes right after i set up vertical correction.

Why should both cards run, when the second one isn't doing anything at all? ULPS is a great feature. I never turned it off, for my crossfire setup.

No problem with 3x1 Eyefinity here on my HD 7970 with 3 13 inch Viewsonic screens. Just have to get use to the new alignment option.
 
with those drivers I get W7x64 IE11 crashing with atidxx32.dll mentioned,
it's purely random, tho usually when closing some browser tab ...

once or twice I got similar crash with firefox

guess could be flash related?

Yeah I got the driver stopped responding and recovered error just now. I was just folding on the gpu's and watching a video with firefox, hardware acceleration was off on flash at the time. Add the small amount of graphical corruption with Civ-BE and that was enough. Also had the Game State of Decay hardlock had to log out from the Task Manager yesterday.

I'm back on the 14.9.2 beta now. The 14.11.1 and 2 are a no go on my comp.
