Best movies to take advantage of surround sound

So I was watching Willow yesterday and realized it has GREAT surround sound (I have a 5.1 system) from the directional effects to the sound of the thunder storm. So I'm asking everyone which movies you've watched that have awesome surround sound effects.

Besides Willow, I thought the 3 LOTR movies had great surround.

I heard Master and Commander (the one with Russell Crowe on the high seas) is a good one (but I have not seen it personally)

I've seen it and it does have outstanding surround sound. They use it really well with ambient noises so that after a while it feels like you're on the ship.

Supposedly War of the Worlds has a very aggressive sound mix, the BD even more so. Episode III definitely has a sweet surround mix going, if perhaps less boomy than you'd expect. If you're talking BDs specifically, though, you probably want to hit up the link Zero mentioned (or its AVS counterpart) and then go shopping.

Along the same lines, I've just purchased a 7.1 system and plan to use the side channel speakers as front high in the new PLIIz configuration - anyone know of a BR release that supports PLIIz?

One particular scene I would recommend is the pod race from Episode 1. Phenomenal.

PodRacer (the game) has/had outstanding surroundsound.

Maybe a film like "300" or even "Braveheart" would be something i'd try at first. But to be honest, i'm so used to surroundsound by now, i couldn't put my finger on one very very special film.

"Hero" / "House of the flying daggers", sure enough and if you're after most realistic sound, of course "The fight club".

Everything is supported if your receiver supports it.... :hmm:

U571 + Depth Charges ;)

 That whole movie is amazing in terms of audio, so much attention to detail. I even remember being wowed by characters having a conversation at the docks. All the ambient sound from work being done makes you feel like you're standing right next to them. Oh man

War of the Worlds on blu-ray is getting rave reviews for the audio (shame, considering i think it's a crap film), including the subsonics and the surround mix.
