Best First Person Shooter

Whoa!! I do NOT want to start a major debate here, but Deus Ex was one of the greatest games to come out period. It changed the way first person players are played by giving the player real choices with real consequences. This, with coupled with an original and intense story makes the game one of the best ever.

I second that opinion. I would LOVE to see more Deus Ex type games out there. It's the perfect balance between stealth and aggresiveness.. you never have to rely heavily on one or the other.

Too bad Deus Ex multiplayer sucked. Really, though, you simply cannot capture the Deus Ex experience by playing it multiplayer.. it just doesn't work.

I HATE Halflife, it sucks... the only good thing about it is some of the mods, but as a single player game, it was one of the worst I've ever forced myself to play (I forced because everyone kept saying it was so damn good but they were all full of it)

I thought it was great until I went through that portal and found myself in a damn Mario game. I'm sorry, but save the platform hopping for the console systems.

Hmmm just not sure which to choose, if its single player it would be Deus Ex...Though I chose Tribes (since I was thinking multiplayer), and it was the first one that I saw 64 people running around shooting it up with little to no lag (for me that is).
