Well the Quake Series gets my vote, not that the first one was any good but I still play Quake 2 and its Addon packs. Plus Quake3 and Team Arena's when I feel like it.

Whoa!! I do NOT want to start a major debate here, but Deus Ex was one of the greatest games to come out period. It changed the way first person players are played by giving the player real choices with real consequences. This, with coupled with an original and intense story makes the game one of the best ever.

I respect your opinion, just felt I had to share mine.

Why do you torture me like this?!? They're all magnificent!

But in particular, the System Shock series for fear, the Unreal series for beauty, the Doom series for nostalgia, the Quake series for making me feel good (showed off my kickass Voodoo2 at the time! ), the Half-Life series for all the memories, and both MOHAA and RTCW for the most realistic action I've played up to date.

Of course, I haven't played Deus Ex yet... I'll get cracking on that in a couple of days. Looking really forward to it!

the best that ive played so far is wolfenstein because it has more action then others and graphically its great
