Wow the new yesterday's patch for Metro Exodus has massively improved Dlss quality and exactly matches my expectations. As I imagine, it does not kill too many details compared to native 4K , and anti-aliasing works also much better especially for vegetation/trees and bright/darker pixels "anthills" plants becomes more structure and water-surfaces shimmering effectively removed, so overall image-quality it looks impressive for me. No longer blurr/soft'ish experience.

So Metro Exodus is finally fantastic playable with an RTX 2080Ti at almost 60fps (4K/DLSS) with the highest Graphics-Settings which includes Raytracing "Ultra", Tessellation, Hairworks+PhysX! That's what I imagine, this is really a good trade-off for such games, which are very demanding on the graphics card.
Performance between 40-50% faster compared to 4K/UHD resolution thats really impressive.

Yesterday I confirmed again by NV-person that Battlefield V should also get a DLSS "quality upgrade" because the current DLSS is not enjoyable and much too smeary, I tested a litte with Freestyle Clarity + Sharpness slider in last night, but I could not achieve acceptable result for me, it seemed too "artificial", far away from natural Look what the Game offers. Even 80% resolution-scaling offers a better result for me. But lets wait until next Battlefield V patches. Next NVIDIA Driver at least doesnt improve IQ yet, from what i could short seen yesterday. New driver are coming out very soon official
