Android aren't that interesting anymore

Went from a big screen (Note 5) to an iPhone 6S and it was the best decision I ever made in terms of phones. Having a monster phone in your jean pockets was just annoying and uncomfortable.

The biggest thing phones and mobile tech in general need to make the huge leap forward is battery technology. That is the proverbial HDD bottleneck IMO. When someone develops a battery tech that lasts a week, 2 weeks, a month, etc... between charges. That will be the game changer.

I think we'll see bumps in efficiency before we see major bumps in battery capacity.

Same here, went from a Note 3/4/5 to a Google Pixel -- can't believe I waited this long to downsize.

Had this nexus 6p now for a while and still love it. Do not regret the screen at all and wish it was as big as the nexus 6. If I could fit a 7" phone in my pocket I would be happy to use it.

Still getting used to android but so far haven't found much that I really don't like.

Stock Android is best Android for most stuff honestly :)

And overall, you have a solid device.

If Google had bothered actually shipping my phone when they were supposed to, give or take 2 months, I'd be rocking the stormtrooper 6p myself

:manches:

Was a bit disappointed to learn that the night mode was removed from the 6p and isn't going to show back up again. Something about the GPU and driver support. My friend's Pixel has it and a co-worker's Note 5 has the function on there. So kinda lame.

Is F.Lux or something like it still available? Assuming they will do the job since they were the first items to do the night mode stuff.

Dunno if you need root or what.

Seems a weird decision though :(

I could root it. Not sure if I can be arsed into doing so over one little issue like that. Other than that I am in  with the phone. :)

Hell, I've been working on mobile products since 1998. Until phones are completely flexible, can project a screen and keyboard for use, can accept mental commands, or are embedded in your body, not much more can change any time in the near future. Alternatively, if phones become necessary for some other social aspect of humans that require them to evolve.

A phone has become kind of like a car. Sure, there's some exotic models, but most people want something that just works.
