I almost pulled the trigger but then read the issues with no hdmi 2.1 no DSC so if you want 10 bit color you are on 144hz. We still dont know the full details of the HDR settings implantation.

I just couldn't do it without a full proper review. to
 
Not buying first version. Will wait for revision or a 16:9 format. This is what I have been waiting for, for ages.

Damn, I was really excited to hear about your thoughts on this. Maybe it's a good thing, so the kinks are worked out before you get one. I'm really interested in this thing!

Better order it soon if you want one before Christmas. Shipping dates direct from Alienware are already pushed out to June.

i was hoping he would look at text rendering as it has been the common compliant so far due to the pixel layout being pretty different from what we are used to.

He's probably pretty used to it since he's been using an CX as his daily driver for over a year.
