16.3.1 Drivers are out

I was a mGPU user and games worked fine most of the time but when they didn't, it was bad, graphical problems, stuttering/bad performance, for example disabling crossfire would give me more performance in some games, totally defeating the purpose, now that i'm on a single card have no problems whatsoever, everything works, new games, old games, ancient games, etc.

Have no desire go back to mGPU setup but if dx12 improves things perhaps i will.

Sorry you were doing it wrong. I have CF and there is only one game which doesn't work with it and that is Act of Aggression. Every other game works and no problems...really smooth gameplay in 2K.

My guess is multi gpu support will be even worse under dx12.

The onus is on the developer to implement and maintains support.

Most arent going to want to spend the resources.

The same holds true for NON DX12 titles, which most people don't comprehend. Most want to blame drivers when in many cases it is lazy developers who don't want to put in the proper code/pathways in their games to support multi GPU setups.

I was pretty shure I installed the 16.3.1's the other day, but I got an driver update notice from Radeon settings.

Can someone post an image of the 'System -> Software' tab, if you know you *only* installed the 16.3.1?

Thank you! =)

The same thing just happened to me. I also installed 16.3.1 last week and I can't find anything new on the AMD website.

Showing up to date here, ddu cleaned for new graphics cards because I switched the Furys. I wanted the newer bios in the first slot. Clean install of 16.3.1

I installed the last Vulkan beta over the 16.3.1.
Crimson interface still shows same version, but the Vulkan package did have new display drivers as well as radeon settings.

EDIT: nm, just got the upgrade message three minutes after writing this very post! :o

As far as I can see, compared to screenshots from DarkFoss (thanks!), the only thing that's different is the version of AMD Audio Driver...:

(DarkFoss pic states 9.0.0.9910)

Your welcome, you would have had the second shot sooner if I had read your post after my 1st cup of joe.
Good to know it's just an audio update folding/gaming in 4k was smooth really didn't feel like finding an update right now.

Only issue I have with 16.3.1 is if I scroll fast the webpage will go blank and need refreshing very intermittent though and Pepperflash still crashes occasionally did that with the 16.3 driver too, hardware acceleration off.
