When users stop coming back? The forum isn't alive without the usual active members. The rest of the members might not know the site works with ip address. Should we PM them and hope they get a copy in their emails? or Just let them figure it out themselves?

Isn't the hosting service a monthly thing? I thought lupine owns the site and pays the bills. Is it possible they just forgot to renew the domain name?

Actually Lupine is only can access the rage3d site, but cannot access an actual server physically. Ich is only the one who can access his server and site.

I doubt Ich can access the server physically. This thing is hosted somewhere. [EDIT: Probably GoDaddy - they aren't just for domain names.]

Not sure how these things work and when exactly the registration will be completely deleted, but can't any of you in the US (or wherever godaddy is) contact them and book the domain, then re-register it? Isn't it like 10 bucks a year?

Whoever owns the domain registration needs to buy it for a year or two. The hosting is separate from the actual server which I reckon' is colocated to a data center somewhere.

I'm guessing it's Ich but I doubt they care that much. They should have just handed over the site to people who have the time and interest in developing it.
