Bayonetta 2 WiiU

Yes yes, keep believing that. A game with Bayonetta caliber won't be picked by anyone if it wasn't for Nintendo. I can try and go back in history to the amount of games that had no publisher and never got picked up. I can tell you one thing for sure, not that many vs the ones that got picked up.

So you think Nintendo paid the devs to lie about Bayo 2 not coming to other platforms as well unles they allow it?

It's a fact, here's a tissue.

Can't wait for this to show up on another platform! Any OTHER platform!

Unless Nintendo pulls a Sega and drops out of the console race you are not seeing Bayonetta2 on any other platform than Nintendo for the time being.

Nintendo funded and published the project. Its not their IP but they have the exclusive rights to it seeing as they put their money into it. So its their call if they permit it to other platforms or not.

If Sega stayed with it without Nintendo's money then you have a case of seeing it on PS4/Xbone. But seeing that big shiney Nintendo logo associated with Bayonetta 2, its not going anywhere.

I am not a native english speaker so don't go marching on my words like you owning me or something.

With that said, I was replying to the point that IF Nintendo did not pick it up, it would have not died and surely someone else would have picked it up. Just because Nintendo picked it up, doesn't make it a savior for it in my eyes.

The developers said they couldn't find a publisher willing to fund what was needed and if Nintendo hadn't stepped it, Bayonetta 2 development would have stopped completely.

Kamiya again comments on Bayonetta 2’s initially troubled fate and how Nintendo saved the game

So again you´re claiming to know the situation better than the developers themselves? :o :o

So yes, Nintendo did save Bayonetta 2.

Well, why they didn't come out saying that before Nintendo approached them? They were so sure about a buyer approaching. Them saying that the game would have been stopped completely is just to garner some momentum after the Nintendo purchase. Ofc, this is all IMO.

Another mad bad is sad that Nintendo has exclusive games that his PS4/XB1 can't play.

Internet and stuff!

That's all behind the scenes stuff.....I don't think you want to or are obligated to tell the world your sob story of 'oh woe is me, sega denied funding so we cant finish the game, please someone step up and give us money so we can finish this game!"

No one picks up something like this 'just because its awesome so it must be easy finding a new partner'. Its a business and businesses want something called profit. Its also a new IP and that doesn't exactly instill confidence unless they can sell boatloads. Original Bayo sold some 2 million. Who knows how much of that is profit. You also have to consider dev costs WILL be higher on the Xbone/PS4 as well, so the number of copies to break even and/or make a profit will have to be higher than it would on a wii-u and/or ps360. How many dev houses closed down lately because of rising dev costs and not enough sales of games to make profits? And I think those games from the closing dev houses even sold more than 2 million copies of whatever.

No one knows what happened behind the scenes other than Nintendo stepped up and funded whatever was left of the project and at least 2 publishers refused to do so.

I've always said that I will never buy a console for just one game.
But I am very much considering it for this game.
