Definitely deserves its own thread, just got done playing through the demo, looking like a must have title for the WiiU, Demo was awesome and reviews of this title are stellar. Added plus, the definitive Bayonetta 1 edition included.

Will be picking it up after work Friday, had it pre-ordered for shipping but felt like having it to play over the weekend and pre-ordered it local instead.

I thought about preordering it but I think all copies come with Bayonetta 1 (and not special edition copies) and I don't think this is a title that's going to be sold out on day one.

I just gone through a bit of playthrough of both (I decided I should play 1 first before trekking into 2. But the Bayonetta 2 demo is pretty much the exact same tutorial/story/intro level as in the full game)

Bayonetta 2:
Dem graphics tho. That bigass dragon thing at the end looked wicked (I played the demo on the wii-u screen, so seeing it on the TV...damn)

I cant tell how much CGI is used vs whats rendered in real time (if its used at all). The transition between the two are seamless and aside from the fps drop between gameplay and cutscene they look pretty much the same. Theres USUALLY visual clue-ins when CGI is used (like anti-aliasing in cutscene vs realtime, FPS drops to 24 during cutscenes, a slight color pallete difference in the backgrounds, less floaty looking movements in CGI, etc) but I was actually having a hard time seeing these differences other than the FPS drop. So If it all real time, then the gameplay runs at 60fps, and they drop it to 24/30 fps or whatever during cutscenes (seems like they bump up the graphics quality slightly for cutscenes with AA). My point being this is a good show of power for the Wii-U. Its not Xbone/PS4 but its definitely visualy pleasing (as well its pretty chaotic and pretty damn flashy)

Anyways compared to Bayo1 the graphics are much better I think. seems textures and polygon count has been improved, and theres a lot more color going on.
Dem costumes in Bayo1 lol. 4 are unlocked off the bat (peach/Daisy are more or less the same but color swapped, Link and Metroid). Apparently its Nintendo's idea that Link's costume needs to be sexier lol. Nintendo was all like 'NEEDS MAOR CLEAVAGE!!!"
I think its pretty wicked idea that each costume alters the attacks a little.

I downloaded the demo. It seems alright. I just can't seem to get into these kinds of games anymore.

Definitely a good game and surprisingly an Adult title on the WiiU. Got to love her backward bent over splits to save the cute squirrel!

Finished Bayonetta 1 Wii U on normal, thought I´d be ready for 3rd Climax in Bayonetta 2. Boy did I get a wake up call and ass whoopin' the first time.

Managed to get gold after a few tries. :D

Think I´ll practice dodge off set some more in B1 and try to unlock stuff and try to get some Pure Platinums.

I'm just trying to get through levels, getting a stone quite often, lol. On some of the boss battles it really doesn't feel like I have control over the situation. The Dragon battle for instance it doesn't feel like I can Dodge or miss the damage it inflicts.

Hard to explain, it's seems to feel like this for the bosses that are for the most part stationary, the ones that move around feel like a normal battle. Maybe it's more of a feeling that I can't get out of the way because they take up the whole screen.

Can't wait for this to show up on another platform! Any OTHER platform!

This game would not have been made without the money Nintendo put in it. So it is and will remain a WiiU exclusive.
Same reason that Uncharted is a Playstation exclusive, Halo for the Xbox etc.

:) :) :nag: :nag: :)

Yes yes, keep believing that. A game with Bayonetta caliber won't be picked by anyone if it wasn't for Nintendo. I can try and go back in history to the amount of games that had no publisher and never got picked up. I can tell you one thing for sure, not that many vs the ones that got picked up.
