Atomic Heart

It's always been a thing. You have to be careful what you say, when your doing stuff designed for the public to consume. We humans have been doing that for many millennia at this point.

yes, i know, but it wasn't nearly as bad as now in the past.

Atomic Heart, more like Bullet Sponge.

That gameplay demo did not make the combat look fun at all, those enemies had way too much HP.

Sounds like this might get addressed? Article is dated 2/9/23

I sure hope so, the fact that the enemies can soak so much damage and don't seem to react to getting hit by gunfire is not a good combo.

Well, they are robots. However guy streaming the game for over 8hrs on twitch. Game seems tight and I would expect review scores in the 80's (if not review bombed). He was playing on default difficulty. Didn't seem overly bullet spongy to me *shrugs*. Watched a creepy AF female bot with a scary AF stare. I'm definitely looking forward to playing it.

One of the things i watched from a guy who had earlier access said that higher difficulties dont increase enemy health, but make other things harder. So if that stream didnt look to spongy, it should be good.

12:01 AM local time on the 21st on PC. The PC release is staggered. Console release is simultaneous worldwide.

Reverse that

Wow, they added Denovo 2 days before release?
For sure it was always there during development, some devs just put it on the store page as late as possible. Probably going to be the new norm, why announce DRM early before you're legally obliged to, and turn away a segment of your potential customers...

Interesting the report of a 1 month old dev build being put online turned out to be true. And w/o denovo to boot.
