Witcher 3 Mods Thread

Anyone else notice how the only bad textures in the game are the rocks? It's almost like they forgot to add the highres for textures for them since the current ones at highest settings look very low res.

ya know, sometimes, i think it depends on distance, or some setting. i use to have high res rocks close up, and low far away,. now, they are bad close up, but great far away.
I do have that config tool and i edited everything.
And, to let you know, do not turn on MLAA ( i think) :(
Game wont load

this one seems really dark. it was raining a bit, and 4pm looked like nighttime.. is it supposed to be like that?

Depends on clouds and what not. there are many different looks in this game for rain or even dry weather. I don't know about full on night time looking though. The stone in Novigrad gets a lot darker when its soaked with rain if that's what you mean.

Honestly though, the attention to every little detail in this game is amazing. There really didn't need to be 50 different types of weather, or all the detail in every single piece of armor or clothing. Even the owl, its the only one in the game and all its animations and the blinders it wears and every thing are just so detailed its crazy. Would have likely been GOTY with half the effort but as it is now, it's set a new standard that many studios are going to have a really hard time matching.

+1

Anyone used sharpening in the game? I may try a mod or reshade with sharpening. Right now I'm trying out sharpening in Nvidia control panel. But at higher sharpening levels, above 30, it causes flickering in the distance.

And that could be from conflicts with graphics mods I have like HD Reworked, a lighting mod, a Lod mod and others. If anyone knows how to get high sharpening without flickering. I know the thread is from last decade but not sure if I should've started a new thread which could be ok I guess.
