Windows 98 support?

Possibly a very dumb question, but. . .

Does the Remote Wonder run under Win98?
I've been to the ATI site, which says that anything from 98SE will work, but does the remote work in the first edition of 98 at all?

Thanks in advance,

Peter

It may - the Remote should work if you have a working USB port (i.e. USB drivers that work).

Originally Windows 98 (Gold) had no USB support, but that may have changed.

Excellent! The Win98 outfit that I'm using at work handles USB pretty nicely (unlike the supposed add-on that we have for our Win95 machines . . .) - should make for some rather fancier PowerPoint presentations! :)

Thanks,

Peter

Both Windows 98 (Gold) and Windows 98 Second Edition have had full USB support from release (at least built into the OS). I think you must be thinking of Windows 95 Gold vs Windows 95 OSR 2.1 Stephen or do you mean "support" of ATI's USB devices?

If it does support 98 Gold, Stephen will you please ask your webmaster to correct the download page to read "Windows 98 (Gold and SE)". This will remove any uncertainty for others wanting to do the same - thanks.
