I can understand because of HDMI limitations etc, but if a tv actually has a screen that can do 120hz, 200hz whatever. Then SURELY if it's a movie from a non HDMI source AKA a USB stick directly connected to a TV, then where is the limitation?
Maybe I'm missunderstanding it, but surely if a TV is taking a 50Hz source and frame doubling etc to smooth it into a 200hz source. Then it must have the capacity to output at 200hz?
/head explodes
I just think if you can bypass HDMI, then I don't know what limitation would actually exist.
