Why does 3D at home have more pop and depth than the 3D in the theater?

Imax, real3d or what are you watching at the theater? Also some sets let you adjust that.

At home, you can set up your TV to look how you like. At the theater, it is set up how THEY like.....and sometimes, that is not very well.

It's also likely that the intensity of the 3D in theaters is toned down a bit to accommodate people who get headaches if the effect is too intense.

Vox 3D doesn't seem very widespread and seems to be limited to middle eastern countries?

VOX is just a brand of movie theaters here. The actual 3D technology they use is DepthQ 3D. They were using RealD 3D previously.

When watching an IMAX movie tilt your head from side to side. If it doesn't completely destroy the 3D image something is wrong. If your head is level IMAX linear polarized glasses should beat everything out there.

You also should compare the same movie at the theater and home to make a valid comparison.
