What TV shows are you currently watching?

Our Flag Means Death (final season, Max) - Thought the first season was more quirky and fun. I guess they decided another season would've worn out its welcome and so ended it here.

Scavenger's Reign (Max, Netflix) - First half sorta of a bio horror mind trip. Second half concentrated on the story which was simple but decent but alas didn't quite stick the landing which left open a second season. I hope it gets a 2nd but I feel the show is rather niche so not counting on one which might turn off anyone requiring closure.

Finished 1st Shop of Coffee Prince, was a pretty good show although it dropped in quality towards the end and esp the finale.

Terminator Zero (Netflix) - It says nudity but most you really see are boobs. Still a fresh take on Terminator though probably too philosophical for some. I watched it in Japanese though from the credits, Ahsoka did the voice of one of the main characters. Also they actually used surround sound effects in this show.

Is anyone watching From? I got on to it a bit late so had 2 full seasons to watch without a break and the show is so damn good. Season 3 just started but I'm (supposed to be) busy with studying so I'm holding off on watching it until a few more episodes are released.

I watched the first 4 episodes when it was on... amazon? then the series left. Have toyed with picking up MGM+ at some point, but I have other things to watch at the moment.

Currently picking up the last season of Snowpiercer (damned good scifi) on AMC+ (get it through Amazon, NOT directly from AMC... video quality is 500% better), and have been watching Pachinko (not normally my cup o tea, but enjoying it), started Agatha All Along (I like it) as well as Only Murders and a couple of other things.

On a recommendation from a friend, we watched the first two seasons of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend before it got pullled from Netflix. It's a great comedy. Pretty daring, actually. And she IS crazy. Need to see where it lands next or request the seasons (2 more) from the library on DVD. Some of the musical numbers stick with you and a huge variety of styles. Hmmm... I seem to enjoy Greg's numbers.

"Greg's Drinking Song" -
"I Gave you a UTI" -
"It was a Shit-Show" -

Oh, rewatching Ghosts (american version) with my daughter in anticipation of Season 4 coming back soon.

Started watching Where Stars Land (2018) Korean drama / romance. Pretty cheesy but I like it so far.

Finished S4 of Snowpiercer. Pretty good. Glad we at least got to see S4 after the cancellation.. We dont get a full wrap up for the continuity of the movie universe as this was a prequel series and so could have used another season. But you can kind of figure what happens here on out.

Finished Where Stars Land. 16 episodes on Netflix but shows as 32 on IMDB, so I was thrown off by the ending. Decent show overall. Main romance was good enough. Secondary romance was better but not concluded. Sadly the show really struggle to conclude or do much with a lot of the arcs it setup, also the main male character is stupidly stubborn about his health.

DNF on Forecasting Love and Weather after 2 episodes. Started alright and I like the premise a lot, but after two episodes I no longer have a desire to go back. Looking

Started watching Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, which is another South Korean romance drama. Have seen 3 episodes so far. Already like it much more than Forecasting Love and Weather, so I'll probably stick with it to the end. It's crazy to me that that the episodes are like 75 minutes long, practically movie length.

Slow Horses (seasons 1-4) - So Andino recommended this show when I mentioned I was missing a British fix. Writers definitely know how to write thrilling seasons and they're not afraid of offing characters. Got to see the High Sparrow, Elrond and Baltar not to mention modern British locals I've never seen before like those water towers! Anyways a lot the characters are pretty disagreeable at first which makes getting used to folk being offed a lil easier.

Liar! They're almost all disagreeable in one way or another from the get-go and never really get likable. Still a great show though! :)

when I mentioned I was missing a British fix.

Irish shows I've enjoyed recentlyish. Not precisely the same thing, but you may enjoy.

Bodkin - true crime podcast stumbles on an old Irish mystery. Comedy? Not exactly. Interesting though.
Derry Girls - total comedy. Ridiculous, but so adorable. The nun (Sister Michaels?) is the best part of the show despite having a small part.

Then there's always the Great British Baking Show. :)
