What Homer Simpson REALLY thinks

The illustrious tweaker programmer had this to say:

I'm with JohnK on the Images, the first one of NFS:PU clearly show the GF2 shot as the best.(like Matt says though its all subjective )
Something else that has to be thrown in here is DRIVERS!!!....

I'd seen that NFS comparison a while back before V5 1.03 were available so I've no doubt with some settings adjustment ,the V5 can be brought up to the same image standard as the Radeon/GF2. It has to be said the Driver situation with the Radeon is a joke, over half of the new release's in the past two weeks had an issue of some sort or another with the Radeon. i.e Giants , Sacrifice , Project IGI , Hitman, Insane , CM2 etc ... some of the problems can be ignored or tweaked out to a certain amount but I currently have both a Radeon (at work) and a GF2Pro (at home) everything runs perfectly on the GF2 without having to turn off some feature or other. If I had to rate a card on drivers alone for stability/features I'd have to say

1st.) V5
2nd.) Nvidia (TNT/GF1/GF2 etc...)
3rd.) S3
4th.) Intel
5th.) Sparkle
7th.) ATI

Personally I don't care what the name of the company is that makes my V/Card as long as its the best one suited for my needs... and as I mainly play games it has to currently be Nvidia . If I only wanted Video capture and stuff I'd have kept my original Radeon 64mb Vivo.

I have a Radeon 32MB DDR, and all games so far look fine at a resolution of 1280x1024, quality is fine, and I get high FPS.

Your opinion is your own, and mine is mine. My opinion....

ATI RULES!!!

:D :D HeHe... it's nothing I haven't already said here.... just not as detailed. ;) because it was more appropriate on a general 3D forum (3Dfiles) rather than here (Being ATI based).

I was under the impression that this is what Homer Simpson normally thinks about:

mmmm....beer....*drool*
