hey that reminds me... it's been at least 6 months i got myself banned from the Epox news group server news.epox.com

i was soooooo mad when i found out my board's lack of features / agp spec compliancy ... i posted a nice note to epox in thanks for the p.o.s. motherboard ... it was because i was seriously wanting to get a gf2:mx , finding out it won't work on my bord... it required the agp spec 2.0 compliancy which my board dosn't have...

in a good way, i'm glad it happend the way it did, or else i'd not have this radeon (thank you ati for only requiring agp spec compliancy 1.0!!! )

Hey! just for kicks, i tried logging into news.epox.com with outlook express... i guess the 6month ban is over, i can get back in! :)

well, they only have newsgroup sections for the latest k62 boards (few models above mine) and the k7/P3 slot & socket boards...

ahh well, my board is past vintage, nor am i surprised they dropped my board's model as a discusion group... guess they got tired off all the people who were complaining about the problems they have with it.... ;P

hey, it was an epox issue man :) (when people are scared to even plug in a tnt2 agp in worry of frying something, it truly shows epox poorly designed that model of motherboard).

It was a full month and a half before i even joined rage3d , which was when i got my radeon...

actually it was 4:00 am saskatoon, saskatchewan, Canada time... now it's 1:37pm. i've gotten some sleep and can now think inteligently gain...

yeah, u're right, i was way off base... i'll just delete the above 2-3 posts ;)


update: yep, i removed 2 unescesary above posts... as they say, they're history! ;)

btw: i'm still used to the edit button bar being at the top of the message, i'll get used to it eventually... :)
