Video In crash on Radeon VIVO 64mb... Help !

Anyone have this problem ? I just reinstall my Windows 98se (fresh new installation) and now, when I use the Video in, not to record, just to look a the TV... it crash. I screen goes black, the power button flash (on the monitor). I can still here the sound of the TV (line-in).

I use the drive on the ATI CD, I install the newest 4-in-1 driver form VIA. I try everything. Everything work very well, execept the video in... Any idea ??
 
I had similar problems, it ran a little
more stably than yours, ie it would rarely
crash with only audio left and a frozen
system. Most of the time, it would crash
only when I right-clicked my mouse,
especially over the video area. Still does,
in fact... but only when in 32 bit color.
At 16 bit, I have no lockups. So, I suggest
you try it!
 
Ok, thanks, I will try it ! I was in 32bit, because I tought the Radeon "suck" in 16bit... But in 2d, I guest it doesn't change anything. I try with Windows 2000, 32bit, and there's not lockup.
