I am looking to buy a Radeon 64 for gaming and video editing. I'm not familiar with the ATI video editing software, and it looks like it has problems from some of the posts I've read here. Is anyone using third party software for video editing? If so, what software and how compatible is it - what kinds of tweaks do you have to do to get it to work?
Also, if you would recommend another card (Matrox G400, Asus 7700 Deluxe?) please let me know! I like the 7700 Deluxe for speed in games, but I read that the video capture quality blows (Tom's Hardware) compared to ATI. And, Matrox is just to slow for games, IMO. But, review sites can show definite bias...
