You do realize that @MD_guy actually has Vega cards for the last few days right?......He's not talking without having any clue you know?

Just removing the possibility of you being very selective and only paying attention to posts that suit you....

You mean the frontier edition cards that anyone else could buy for the last month? The same frontier editions that we already know the performance of? The only one being selective here is you Shadow, and I hate to say it you're just setting yourself up for disappointment (again). Just don't have a breakdown this time.

He had another one too and it wasn't a frontier edition..... :p

Now you're being delusional, like you're still in break down mode from the August 2nd reveal. And you accuse me of selecting reading... :bleh:

Have fun explaining this, and this is the slower frontier edition compared to the Vega RX on drivers not supporting the tiling feature yet:

Make more excuses if you want, but it's already faster than the regular GTX1080 card and the TI isn't that far away.....

What's there to explain? Is this an attempt to swing away from that mistake you made last post?

That video shows the FE slightly faster than a 1080 in Battlefield 1 DX12, and both are trounced by the 1080Ti. What exactly were you expecting?

I'd like to see you explain this...

Here's a much wider variety of games and the watercooled (1700Mhz) frontier edition loses against the plain 1080 the majority of time. And you expect a miracle to compete with the 1080Ti when AMD doesn't? Good luck with that..

With the TI slightly faster sometimes by as little as 6~7 FPS over the frontier, that is clocked slower than Vega RX and the drivers don't enable tiling yet, which according to the presentation slides shown on august 2nd where my hopes and dreams were destroyed, can boost performance anywhere from 5% all the way to 35%.... This one if you need a refresher:

Please, keep living in denial.....

I'm the one living in denial when you're the one ignoring actual benchmarks and resorted to an AMD marketing slide?

I don't know what else to say man, you're clearly setting up yourself for disappointment come August 14th. It's also clear you're still in some kind of break down mode after the August 2nd reveal showed AMD is intending Vega to compete with the 1080, not 1080Ti.

This is a performance feature that's only enabled with the release drivers onwards, and I give them the benefit of the doubt and you're the one resorting to older comparisons with workstation versions clocked slower than the gaming card, and even then the lovely TI isn't hugely faster in BF1 at 4K ultra.

Then add that @MD_GUY stated that crossfire is limited to 2 way in current drivers, but will they enable it or not, who the **** knows, but what I do know is that it's impossible to go beyond 2 way with Nvidia, that is a fact.

You stated flat out that 3 and 4 way isn't going to happen, as if you had inside information which you don't, and i'm the one spewing horse ****?....Look in the mirror pal.

Have you completely ignored Bobvodka's post on this? Better yet, you've still to answer a question I asked a while back.....how many DX12 games support quadfire? Please list them.

You're the one making excuses for your statements clearly made out of you know where, and Bobvodka's still stated it's doable if developers want to....End of.

Again, how many DX12 games support quadfire?

You're in damage control from your previous statements, and the list keeps on growing.....Using Bobvodka's post is the latest BS on your part.

Honestly at this point i'd be ashamed to continue posting if I were you, but you clearly will keep going since you're so used to BS'ing for your favorite company, and do it for free no less.

I think anyone who has followed the last page or so can clearly see who is in "damage control". Now, you're not even responding to the subject at all. You can't even admit your own mistakes (like thinking AMD fella had a RX Vega, not FE). You ignore benchmarks (for the FE that YOU brought up) and jump to AMD marketing slides, bring up 3/4 crossfire and can't even answer a simple question. And now look at your last post, an empty response of someone who has nothing of merit to say because there are no more excuses to run to.

LOL......I'll keep it real simple then for your reading comprehension:

Is it possible to eventually get thru driver updates 3 and 4 way crossfire working, despite your stupid statement stating otherwise?....Yes.

Is it possible to get beyond 2 way SLI with Nvidia?.....No, it'll never happen.

Did you BS about Bobvodka's post?....You most certainly did.

Did you dismiss the potential benefits of tiling in that slide as just AMD marketing, which BTW Pascal in all versions also uses tiling to achieve the performance it does.....Yes you did.

I wait for official benchmarks, but the signs don't look too shitty, that's all while you already have the agenda you most clearly do.

So who BS'ed the most?......

For DX12? NO

What part of that don't you understand? It is up to developer support. Now AGAIN, answer this question.... how many DX12 games support quadfire?

Is it possible to get beyond 2 way SLI with Nvidia?.....No, it'll never happen.

And AMD is following suit...

Did you BS about Bobvodka's post?....You most certainly did.

What? Last I checked, Bobvodka had to correct YOU and your ignorance regarding Crossfire / Quad fire support in DX12 games. He even corrected your misunderstanding of what constitutes "multi-gpu"

Since the August 2nd reveal dashed your hopes, you expect AMD to deliver a magic driver that will suddenly make Rx Vega faster than a 1080Ti? And latching on to AMD marketing slides as your proof?

Listen Shadow, everyone can see you're in breakdown mode and it's hurting you. Take my suggestion, wait for the actual benchmarks and STOP grasping for excuses or set up fragile hopes, because you may just end up crashing hard (again).

Umm. You do realize that chart isn't showing FPS boost up to 30% right? That 30% performance boost is a chart of "bytes per frame savings". What are you expecting that will do for FPS?

Now you're being delusional, like you're still in break down mode from the August 2nd reveal. And you accuse me of selecting reading... :bleh:

remind us again what Vega based cards do you currently have that you can talk about 1st hand knowledge.. ?

.. yeah I thought so ;-/

Can the system see 4 cards and link them together to run a game using the drivers once they do support it?, yes......I have plenty of games right now in the current collection that scale to 3 and way 4 way right now, and it is doable inDX12 if developers wish it?......Yes, and good enough for me, since like Bobvodka stated, someone has to take the first step.....

although the cards can technically function in multi-card arrays, AMD noted that the value is rough when considering limited developer support.

From that very article......Limited developer support because less people buy 2 or more cards for their setups.....If they did and in enough numbers, developers would pay more attention and so would AMD and Nvidia in Multi GPU support.......You want support without putting a dime in, not happening.

Kind of like the CPU argument, where people say they'll get more than a 4 core chip once games start using more, but developers state not enough have more than 4 core chips so they keep coding within that limit.....Chicken and the egg like Bobvodka stated.

Just one that enables all features that may have an impact on gaming, and I never said faster than a GTX1080, I said breathing down it's neck quite often, which just the faster clocks of the RX gets it closer....Once tiling is enabled, it'll only get even closer still....
