TV or VCR remotes?

Hmm... maybe this is going to sound stupid, but...

...is it possible to use Remote Wonder software with regular TV or VCR remotes?

You have to clone the ATI driver for it and have hardware to read IR from your remote and send it to the computer.

Short answer: no.

Remote Wonder software is included with Catalyst drivers, what do you mean by cloning it?
 
Remote Wonder sends signal via RF (Radio Frequency) to the receiver. And the receiver is connected to the PC via USB.

Unless you emulate, converting your remote signal to the Remote Wonder standard and send it to the USB, there is no easy way.
