Im sorry I know this is a Radeon 8500 discussion board but since I own a Radeon 8500 I feel this place is my home since this is the only place ive posted. That said im not having any issues with my video but I am having an issue with my music. It doesnt play all I hear is sound effects. Im using Windows XP with a soundblaster live value! ( I know its gotta go ) and what I think are the latest drivers. Anyone know a site that could help me or Know the answer to this problem. All I need is for the dang music to work. Help anyone! thanks and peace out.
 
Sure, blame it on the Radeon!

Check if you have your CD Audio volume up, you know, click on the speaker at the bottom, and check the CD Audio Volume.
 
ive got everything connected and the volume is up still no music man thats kinda weird. if only acclaim's tech support didnt have there heads up there butt! Anymore suggestions?
 
Try using a digital out connector if you have digital in on the Soundblaster Card. I am sure this is an issue with the SB and not the Radeon 8500
