The Remote Wonder is far too remote for the UK

Where can these be locally obtained for UK customers. I know about the French website but surely there must be a UK supplier somewhere that's willing to sell them? Any UK distributors / retailers care to enlighten us on why the delay? An employee from the UK website shop that sells Hercules parts (directly linked to from the Hercules website) told me on the phone that it wasn't even something they were looking to sell here - incredible!

Come on ATI UK/Hercules UK, there are people with money wanting to buy these things, sort it out. A good start would be something on your respective websites and not a "US/Canada only" notice thankyou VERY much ATI:rolleyes:

Why oh Why is there nowhere to buy within the UK ?????

My order has already been placed (when they were in stock), so when some more arrive (assuming they haven't kept one aside for me until payment gets through), I should be getting my box in the mail shortly after. The price listed of €29.98 is if you want it delivered in France. For UK customers their price is €41.29.

I just can't beleive there are no UK retailers who are willing to sell them.

Does anybody have any links to any good french or european hardware sites , i am lookung for an older slot 1 abit sh6 motherbooard .

I myself am sorely tempted to buy that remote, too.

BUT i am confused because Hercules states clearly that the remote is only for the AIW 7500/ AIW 8500 cards.

Can anybody here confirm that the HERCULES remote will work on a normal Radeon8500 (or even a PC without ANY ATI card) ????

Yes it has - got it last Thursday after about 2 weeks since I sent payment. I'll post my impressions after the weekend coming up (once I have some time to try it out properly). It came in a white OEM box (probably why they're selling it as for the 7500) but it worked OK with my original AIW Radeon.
