Do you remember the KFC Console, the chicken console , secret recipe with which the fast food brand "apparently" jumped on the PlayStation "boom" in June? Everything seems to indicate that they were serious to us.

KFC Gaming , a division of Colonel Sanders' company, presented on its social networks the video game console that it built together with Cooler Master. It has ingredients such as an Intel NUC 9 Extreme and a removable Nvidia graphics card.

Yeah its some sort of Intel NUC with removable nvidia graphics.

I wonder if they overclocked the everliving crap out of it to get the chicken heater functionality? :D

They just use prime95 preinstalled and auto loading on windows with AVX.
 
I have no clue how enough people in the entire company thought this was a good investment of company resources, especially during COVID. Holy stupid :lol:
 
Did KFC think this one properly through?


So what is supposed to heat the chicken, the heat from the computer only or an extra heating element? What happens when chicken lard drops down on the computer? Will the user get all those toxic Brominated flame retardants in the chicken?

These are all questions that I have, and will be buying the console to find out the answers.

You know, this thing would probably beat my 8 year old PC in a lot of benchmarks. I wonder if that warming basket would keep a cup of coffee warm for me?

I might want one now. Just for the fun of it :bleh:

KFC know this and as soon you spill your coffee inside the console they expect you to buy another one. Unless they figure how to protect the HW of course.

Oh it was a joking thing...I'm horrible with knocking things over and learned a long time ago to keep things away from my electronics. You do have a point though, because people will fill these things up with whatever....
 
Watch Intel and Nvidia will make a deal to get the price down to $500 and put this generation of consoles in a pickle. I don't see why this bucket of chicken couldn't play CP2077 decently right now.
 
What's happening to KFConsole? I was looking forward buying this console so that I can play and eat warm hot wings as well.
