The OP of that thread is wrong. SteamVR is not a version of OpenVR, SteamVR is OpenVr, 2 names for the same exact thing, and it doesn't need Steam client runnng in order to run in SteamVR.

I think I paid something like $32 early on for the PSVR. Its a decent game of Tetris but better at a $20 price point though.

Finally picked it up.
Paid 30 for it.
Played it.
Played it some more.
Got songs stuck in head.
Played it more.
Had to stop playing to work.
Thought about playing it.
Ate dinner, put son to bed.
Played it some more.


Worth my $30. It's more than Tetris, it's an experience. You get so into it you start placing pieces to the beat of the music. It's totally immersive in VR. Highly recommend.

It's VR only or VR optional? If you played VR, how does it work? I've been scared to get it on EGS because it's neither a SteamVR nor an Oculus VR app, so was concerned with compatibility.

Works just fine, launches in oculus mode.
Can be played in 2d or vr mode.
