Went through the search engine for pevious posts on the G500 , and got some good info. My Nokia 17" is on its way out, and time for a new monitor. Looking at the G400 or G500, tending to go with the 500. I was wondering what anyone has paid for there monitor, as I can get the G500 at cost, and would like to get an idea of what I might have to fork out.[wont know till Fri. afternoon on exact price.] Heres my basic system specs:
T-Bird 1.33gig @ 1.475 gigs, IWill KK266 mobo, 256MB Mushkin Hi-Perf. Rev2 Cas2 Pc133, Modified WBK-36 HS/Fan combo[ adapter to 92mm fan], Enermax 431W PS, Raedon 64DDR VIVO ,. :D Ps. Any comments that you G500 users have will be welcome. Thanks. Mark

It's a great monitor though a comparable once for just as cheap is the Samsung 1200nf. Better support and looks great too. Also is cheaper.

Just wondering if any one has had a compatibility problem with the Sony monitors and Raedons? If so, is there driver support?

I'm running my CPD-G500 at 1600x1200@85Hz.

No problems whatsoever. No driver problems at all.
And ther shouldn't be either.

This is the best monitor I have seen and used. The TCO 99 rating is what really did it for me.

I paid $1400CDN for it. Great Christmas present, worth every dollar.
