I have been having a boatload of shutdown issues and I have not been able to get my system up and running for more than 4 min, I need help diagnosing what the hell is going on

Complete lockup and then I am forced to reset with the reset button,

I need some ideas on what the hell is going on

Everything was fine and then boom everything just locks. I can't even log into it to get any notion of what is wrong. I have not changed any hardware, I installed or attempted to install Rift, anti virus, anti Trojan, anti spyware all up to date.

I have it up and running but I am scared to even touch it

Wire on the power supply had come loose. Replugged cord and issue seems to have been resolved, I was really ready to pitch the whole thing out the window I was so frustrated.
