Serious Sam CO-op?????

Hey guys, help me out here. Does Serious Sam (first encounter) have a co-op mode that everyone can play from their own PC or is it just the split screen option for co-op?

I played the demo long agp but I don't remember if the co-op supports playing over a LAN from everyone's individual PC's...

I might buy this game tonight so any help ASAP is greatly appreciated.
