Hey everyone
I just bought a new santa cruz this morning, it was an oem model..I got it home should have looked better before I left the store, but it came with a burned cd for drivers and they were downloadable drivers..I guess I get the latest drivers which is a plus but I didnt get anything but the drivers. it sounds great the way it is, I'm real happy for 58$ Canadian..but I'm wondering if I'm missing out on anything without the original cd?? anyone have it that knows what you get? or better yet willing to let me download it from them?
thanx for any info

Wolf, u bought the card in Canada computers? i saw the card today, it was alos priced for $58 bux. But of course, it is an OEM version which included a CD(it doesn't look like a CD but a CD-R)

All you need is the drivers. I tried the version of Audio Station that was on the CD and, after a few days, it became unusable. It'd come up with an 'Illegal Operation' window every time I started it up.
Other than that I love the card!

You aren't missing anything that isn't really that good or not worth the extra price of a retail card. Where in Portland are you from Gzus? I live right above Portland, Vancouver. Portland is like 5 minutes away.

thanx for the input guys
as for the price of a retail card..a retail version would have cost me about 3 times as much so I cant see anything warranting paying that much more, unless they're including a speaker system or soemthing too..
