Samsung's upgrade programme is a total joke just don't buy from them. I've tried twice and both times had my order cancelled by Samsung. They are absolute s**t. Couldn't organize a pi** up in a brewery. I'm a loyal customer and they treat me like this. I'm not the only one there are thousands complaining all over the interweb. I'm done with Samsung will look elsewhere for a new phone.

Heh been reading about that lately. Really looking forward to wrestling those "free Buds Pro" yeah, I'm gonna fight that one, unless phone arrives after the end date of course which is pretty much a given

After the terrible signal quality of the Note 20 ultra, I wont be going with them again unless a miracle happens.

I got the Buds live with the S21 and hardly use them TBH. Apparently the Buds 2 are the best ones which is why they're giving the Pro's away. I'll give them one more go but after 3 strikes I'm out.

I just gave them my money yesterday. I got left over $250 credit. I couldn't even spend it all because most of the stuff was sold out. I guess all the good stuff 45w charger, cases etc.. were at the pre-order launch.

I love my note 9, still no reason to upgrade. Best phone I've ever owned.

Note 22 ultra is tempting for the 100x zoom though. But I'll keep mine until it doesn't work.

I don't touch Samsung for anything other than maybe a TV. Their phones won't get updates, their appliances are garbage truck juice.

They like to sell you stuff every year, so they make sure you have to buy a new one every year. This apparently is the philosophy with their appliance division as well...

The S22 line is getting 4yrs update.:bleh:

My note 9 still gets security updates...

Samsung has the best update policy of any Android phone these days.

As for appliances... thats a remains to be seen for us. I never planned to buy any, but they design the best stuff. Their refrigerator layout earned a try, no issues after a few years. Then when our dishwasher broke figured we would get it to match the fridge.

And there are no good washing machines out there anymore. Every single brand is full of "avoid!" Reviews. Every. Single. Brand. So when that died figured we'd go all in. Lol.

So far. All good.

Nah, OnePlus has Samsung beat in terms of update longevity.

Just had my third order cancelled by Samsung as I'm a security risk and was told to complain to an email address that responded with "this email address is no longer monitored it's been closed"

My wife said I don't want to rub it in but I've ordered an Apple LTE watch and it's getting delivered in 12 hours and it was, I actually answered the door. FFS

Why are Samsung so amateur. Clearly something is wrong with their upgrade programme but they can't be bothered to fix it. Wonder why they're losing market share, it's not rocket science really.

When I finally spoke to customer services they were from the Philippines and was put through to the resolution team. When I told him my issue he said he couldn't resolve it WTF. When I asked him if he could actually resolve anything he said probably not but he got paid more for being a Resolution expert  Would be a joke if it wasn't so s**t.

Apparently Samsung are suffering with a lot of returns especially with the S22 Ultra due to terrible performance of the AMD Exynos 2200 chip they foist on us Europeans whilst the USA always gets the superior Qualcomm chip.

It seems to throttle like crazy and other types of graphical and lagging issues so I think I'll keep my S21 for a few months longer to see if they can fix the problems. Not holding my breath because Samsung support is S**t.

No one in the UK has received the February security update, obviously too interested in sorting out the S22 issues to bother with older phones. Sad really they used to be a great smart phone company now they're being trounced by the Chinese manufacturers and Apple. For the first time in my life I'm actually contemplating about buying an iPhone. Aagh.

I'm pretty unimpressed by the S22 Ultra. The camera performance is looking a little worse here, little better there compared to the S21 and both the Eynox and Snapdragon are very hot running chips. I think I'll likely get a S21 Ultra as the pricing should start getting pretty sweet.

Note Note 20 Ultra has 4 years of planned updates. :hmm:
I plan on sticking with this phone for a while. Got it on launch, has everything I need from battery life to all-around performance + seemingly endless storage (1.5TB local).

I'll probably be in the market for a new phone in 2 years from now. These things last longer and longer than ever.

Well like an idiot I contacted Samsung UK (based in Philippines ) and they said all upgrade issues sorted so I ordered the S22 again. Took less than 10 minutes this time to cancel the order. So as far as I'm concerned F**k off Samsung I'm done.
