Samsung 46" LCD - 1080p Not Working!

Hey guys!

I've been wanting to ask this question for a long time now, but I'm having major troubles getting 1920x1080 working on my Samsung LCD.

I have a Radeon X800, and it's ran at 1080p before, but has always given me issues.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. When it doesn't, the screen goes black and I'm screwed. The TV says, "Not Supported Mode". I can only get 800x600, 1024x768, and 1280x1024 working. Nothing else.

I've used EVERY setting under the CCC, and I'm also using a SVGA cable that costs $50+. Using a DVI to VGA adapter makes no difference as well!

I'd appreciate any help or advice on this!

im not an expert in TV but what about the refresh rate ? Monitors and LCD TV's are not the same .... 60Hz should work

Refresh rate doesn't affect anything on my TV. I know some people said going down to 50Hz fixed their problems, but mine doesn't work no matter what. By default, it's set up to 60Hz, and that works for most of the resolutions.

Even 1920x1080 at 30/50/60 doesn't work. So it's got to be something else. :(
