RX580 question

So, it seems that my HDMI connection on my RX580 drops in and out. My display will either go black, or show brief fuzz, before dropping down it's connection status to show the reestablished HDMI connection. It does this every few minutes.

I do have a Display Port to HDMI port adapter that I am currently using. This seems to have fixed the problem, though I cannot use HDR now.

Any suggestions? Might it be driver related?

HDMI Link Assurance on or off?

Radeon Settings > Display and there is a toggle for the setting.

If it's on turn it off if it's off turn it on also try swapping cables. Speaking of cables whatcha using maybe your HDMI cable isnt up to snuff.

I swapped cables around, both of which work well enough with my PS4 Pro. I haven't spent a lot of time with the link assurance. I know that it's on, but I can't remember if I tried with it off or not.
