Rx 470 and Rx 460 benchies

The question is when will they be available and if they will be plenty of them as well?

The 480 4gb version needs to make a better presence as well as the 8gb version. AMD could make a rather good dent in market share if they actually managed to produce cards at a sufficient rate.

Looks like I may have found my next card. Anyone know the price point for these?

Upgrading from my 6970 which has more than lasted the time I imagined.

Beautiful cards
It says 470 $179 which seems maybe a little bit high but that is an AIB model others maybe cheaper.

No price on the 460.

If RX 460 really comes with that Fury-nano-ish cooler I would buy it for spare cards. But I believe there won't be any reference RX 460, AIB usually put absurdly huge cooler and overly big PCB for it.

EDIT: Just found this, looks how small is Polaris 11. And look at Sapphire done to it. Big a$$ cooler and big a$$ PCB. It should be single slot cooler FFS.

I agree that it should be possible to have a single slot cooler, or at least a non-oversized PCB/cooler. At 75 watts it shouldn't need much cooling power.

I bet some AIB versions come with a smaller cooler. Sapphire probably is trying to rush it out, so they're just using whatever cooler they had on the shelf.

Man, I hope we don't go back to bigger is better concept. Loved the smaller sized Fiji solutions - absolutely beautiful. I definitely want to see a Vega Nano X - be in line to buy one of those coming off the truck.

Looks like a big part of the 460 circuit board is not even used :(
