**We will have A.I. managed - Draw Stream Binning Rasterizer in December Driver Big update >18.12.1<
I think it will uplift Vega uArch performance by additional 20-30% (conservative prognosis)

Thats why it's so difficult to Proper implement this Feature.
It is implemented & enabled even now, but it needs Dev to write code by Hand ;)
(DOOM Eternal will be good example)

That's why ATI working on A.I. sort of managment -> How to & When + Where A.I. Tasks
Then you can just have it everywhere (even in DX9/OGL games lol)

This particular Feature can Give us even >50% Uplift for DeusEx MkD
Today i've meansured Deus and end up with 65FPS Average (Ti have 67FPS)
so add to this 32FPS and we have 97FPS average in 1440p playing DeusEx MkD !

And apparently we will get DLSS (or Direct ML) on any radeon 7000 and above:

I didn't even know what they were talking about.

Apparently they train some neural networks to do AA and the result is faster processing for nearly the same picture quality?

How does it work for games with existing TAA? I'm guessing it doesn't work and needs to be supported on a per game basis? So it works on DX11 as well?

Id read DLSS was working on RTX cards well... AFAICT its a driver side thing and not api but not sure...

If it can come to other cards that'd be great.

I want 360 degree screenshots and what nvidia calls freestyle hopefully those 2 things get added in the future. Maybe post year end feature update.

That's not actually a secret; every year we look at the feedback list to implement new features. This year will be no different ;)
Three

Think of your VR customers and how happy you would make them all >:3

You mean in VR games, or PC games in general?
Both naturally. With heavy emphasis on PC games in general. Being able to take 360 shots of non VR games and scenery and then using that screenshot as the background in things like SteamVR home and the like is a dream outside of my grasp as an AMD GPU user.

I will not disagree with you, but unfortunately as far as I am aware there is no standard way of doing this. 3D engines render only what's absolutely necessary to display your view for performance reasons - so you need a special mode built-in within the game that tells the engine "hey, render everything so i can get a 360 screenshot".

I figured as much considering it hadn't been done yet in response to Nvidia Ansel. Thanks anyway Kombatant <3

Nice but can we get a DLSS yay or nay? Anything that can push some better perf via some efficiency improvement for our Vega cards would be nice. :)

you can semi do this now by taking a bunch of screenshot and using some photogrammetry software with it.

Damn I never thought about that. Thanks Cyan I'll have to give it a go.

Any recommendations on software to use to stitch the pics together?

Ah yeah not what I had in mind !_!

I'm talking more like screenshots that look like this:

Yeah I know you wanted environment, I just reference that guy so you can ask what software he uses. There was another person that did it with the environment but I couldn't find the reddit thread so I reference that guys instead. The other guy if I remember correctly created something from a zelda game taking screenshot of the enviroment.

Actually I just found another guys post, he did it with the Witcher, Novigrad city
