RTCW Patch 1.3!

A must get for R8500 Users. Just put TrueForm on Best Quality and see. Worth the download just for that. Thanks for letting me know Kenjini.
 
When you download the patch, will it only let you play on a server that is upgraded to the 1.3 patch....?
 
How does one set the Truform to max.....

I thought that there was only a box to check off.....

Is it a command prompt under the console......

Yes client and server have to be 1.3 to be able to play...
 
I have also applied the patch and I am getting the bubble effect that I have heard about with HL. Is there any way that this can be fixed without having to turn off truform?
 
I'm mostly at the jolt server's but thy are not yet 1.3 :( .
Just look me up over pathfinder ;) I go by [HPNG]konjini just search the servers for players that are named [HPNG] and you will find me or one off the other guy's.

The new map ROCKS :D ....a realy huge map afther playing the map a few times I still don't know whare and what to do expect killing the other team :p .
 
Some small notes during the patch update process they warn you that the "uninstall feature" will no longer work if you apply this patch. Also I see no difference on people in single player mode.

you misunderstood that note
it only says that the RTCW folder will not be removed (since the installer thinks that the patch is responsible for installing it so it won't touch it)

most proggys are like that, if you update them they won't remove the "root" folder when uninstalling
 
yeah didnt read the entire readme there.. just noticed it while i was clicking the next button...
 
I haven't noticed a difference with the new patch (except for the new map..)

Truform in 1.3 looks like the previous versions...
 
I couldn't join my favorite server after applying 1.3patch, so i just manually uninstalled it, installer don't work on mine. It wasn't quite clear which files to delete and add in order to go back to 1.1, but somehow i figured it out and got it back to 1.1

but single player didn't work, so i had to add some files from 1.3patch again to get it work, so my single player is 1.3 now but my multi is still v1.1 LOL...
