Routine

Looks good, btw my theory for the long silence after the first trailer was because Alien Isolation came out and add very similar aesthetics, i'm talking about the retro 80's computer interfaces and all, and even if they didn't copied Routine, that i'm pretty sure they didn't, because the first Alien film already used that aesthetics, the routine guys perhaps thought otherwise, their announcement and trailer came out almost a year before Alien Isolation, so they decided to keep quiet to not "inspire" others. :P

Even Soma from frictional also a game that got announced after the routine trailer uses a similar distortion effect on the title, perhaps is all coincidences but you never know.

Because Routine even tho announced and displayed first, is coming now many months after all the games i mentioned above got released, i'm pretty sure many will accuse them of coping said games, specially people that never heard about it before now, if the opposite is true is sad indeed.

A month or two. Could put them right beside Prey in terms of release timing, not sure that will help them.

Imo the only thing that will not help them is if the game sucks, after so much delays, they are a small indie company i don't think they are so relient on day one or week one sells like the big boys are, because those spend millions on games, IMO the Routine team just want to sell the necessary number of copies to cover the 5 years of development costs and have enough for a next game, and if the game is any good even word of mouth can accomplish that (plus the army of lets players on youtube that like to play horror games) Frictional Games have shown that is possible even for a very small indie team.
