Remote Wonder Software Installation

If any can help me with this one, Thanks in advance.
When I am installing the remote wonder 1.1 software (yes before plugging in the USB plug) and then installing 1.2 along along with doing a re-boot when 1.2 asks, I get the following window after re-boot:


rundll in the blue window top.

in the main window area it reads:

c:\program files\ATI

module could not be found.

and yes, that folder was there on my drive.

I am using win xp pro.

I have the same configuration and problem!
But I can also boot my PC by Windows ME. Then the remote works fine!

I have asked ATI support for help, but no reply yet.

im having the same trouble too ive been going crazy uninstalling drivers and all trying to fix it.. someone else has had to come across this before????

I had this same problem. My solution was to install to C:\RemtCtl instead of a path with long file names and I was able to get the remote working. Let me know if this helps. If we, we should be it put in a FAQ somewhere as I was pulling my hair out trying to figure this one out.

could one of you guys try this?

remove the remote software completely and make sure the directory "C:\Program Files\Ati" does NOT exist...

install the remote software again in the default directory and see if everything is ok.

i had a similar problem where instead of loading the remote software, the directory "C:\Program Files\Ati" would be opened whenever i started up.
