I got this remote with the HDTV Wonder. It works fine on one of my pc's but on the pc I really want to use it on, I have to hold the remote within a foot of the receiver and even then it barely/rarely works. The pc I want to use it on has had fresh installs of both win2k and winxp pro. The pc it works on is running winxp pro. I just dont understand why it works so good on one and not on the other. Anyone have any suggestions?

There can be a variety of things. Check device manager first - compare to your working version. Make sure that the remote program is running - it should install on startup but maybe it didnt or you are getting an error. Also make sure the USB receiver portion is well away from RF interference from the PC (fans and power supply)
