I have an AIW 8500DV. The first time I installed Remote Wonder, it worked perfectly. After I upgraded to the Catalyst drivers, Remote Wonder does not install.
The x10uif driver installs when I plug in the receiver, and it shows up in the Control Panel Devices listing under USB Devices. The problem is that he Installer program runs, but when it gets to the point of installing in Program\ATI Multimedia\RemCtrl it stops and gives me an error notice: "Feature Transfer Error. Error 1612 The installation source for this product is not available. Verify that the source exists and that you can access it."
This problem occurs both using the ATI CD-ROM disk supplied with the board and using the downloaded Remote software. I have tried deleting everything and going back to the originally supplied drivers. Nothing helps. Perhaps I have not cleaned out all of the relevant registry entries and software.
