Refrish fix ain't working for catalyst

I'm really pissed off. It doesn't seem to be working at all. I have a Radeon8500 DV.

The texture is also slightly blurrier. I've compared screenshots and the old drivers provide a much sharper image.
 
Go into registry by typing "regedit" on the run option of the start key. double click on "hkey_local_machine" then "software" then "ati technologies" then "drivers" then "0000" then "DAL" then scroll down and find "IDCRegOptionDontUseOSMonitorInfo" third from bottom, usually, and double click on that and delete 1 and add 0, reboot.
 
That option doesn't exist anymore. I don't think adding a key will do any good cuz the drivers have to read it.

It seems there is a huge rework of the registry directory system.

has anyone else had this problem and is there a solution.

ps: The textures are fuzzier. I think they went cheap to boost fps.
 
Use the Custom Display Modes tab of Rage3D Tweak to set your refresh rates.
