Radeon Software Crimson ReLive Edition 17.6.2 Release Notes

Happy to say that these drivers installed properly and that VSR is working now for me in GTA 5 :D

Dirt 4 is £44.99 on Steam (about £30.00 on other platforms) so I think EA are taking the pi**. It's a rally game and I bought Dirt Rally for less than £20.00 pre-release. So AMD are now updating drivers for meh games why? They seem to be ignoring all the existing issues so unless you own the game what's the point in downloading the drivers? Are EX actually paying them for this?!? WTF.

EA? EX? Wha?

Early Access? Electronic Arts? Extended Release? Paid for driver fixes?

Would you rather AMD not fix game issues with all games no matter how small? I mean just cause you think the game is meh and you're mad about AMD supposedly not supporting your card with driver updates everyone else should suffer? You're railing against them and wishing for exactly the thing your mad about (which is lack of support).

Have you tested the driver or are you just reading release notes?

What the pickles gai?

So you think prioritising a game by a developer is better than fixing numerous issues in their drivers which have been around for a long time is a good thing? Might be if you own the game otherwise a waste of time TBH.

Do you even own a Fury Card?? If you did you'd know what I'm talking about. If you do you should know what I mean but if you don't well, say no more hypocrite.

Who says they prioritized it? It could have been a simple fix maybe 1 or 2 lines of code. Also you need to take a step back and realize what you're saying here. This whole it's a waste of time to fix a game supposedly no one cares about is arguing for them to not fix things at all. The exact thing your mad about.

If I went by your logic in this case I could very well say since I have a RX 580 and you have a Fury it's a waste of time to fix the drivers for a card I don't own (Fury) But I don't because that is counter productive.

I hope they fix your issues whatever they maybe but maybe think about what you're saying instead of getting pissed off someone who just wants to know what you're talking about.

Take a step back and lets have a coke and a smile since we're both on the same team here.

Seyiji what you don't seem to understand is that the Fury cards are STILL AMD'S HIGH END ENTHUSIAST CARDS until Vega comes out yet they seem to be only interested in fixing issues for mid range Polaris cards.

So what does that say to AMD's enthusiast card owners? Hey buy Vega when it releases months late and when we release Navi soon after we'll stop your support and optimisations and drop you like a bad smell. Hey thanks AMD for buying your most expensive consumer card and then allowing you to sh*t on me from a great height. I enjoyed the privilege

Well when I get a chance I'll walk a mile in your shoes by checking your post history and reading up on the issues the Fury has with recent AMD drivers.

But no more of this X doesn't work so nobody should have fun with Y poop. Nobody wins in that scenario.

I don't mean to get ya mad :3 Also I get you're anger with AMD I really do since I'm a recent AMD card owner coming from Nvidia with their bullshit drivers, crap frametimes and horrible performance where once everything was fine.

Seyiji I can be a grumpy old man sometimes (if you believe my kids more than sometimes!) so I'm really just letting off steam. The one thing I struggle with is why are some people so loyal to one company or brand when that company or brand only want your money and are completely indifferent to you as a customer? If I want to buy something I evaluate all the alternatives and buy whichever product/brand fits my needs at a particular price point I'm willing to pay. Simples. A company is not an entity so defacto can't be bad or evil.

Twas hot off the heels of yet another game publisher being a **** up and being anti consumer and lying about **** myself so no harm no foul ^_^

For the first time got a permanent black screen when upgrading to this driver version, add to reset the PC, everything seams fine after the restart but was strange and if some problem arises will do a clean install.

Btw I think this happened because i turned on VSR and GPU scaling to play a old game, some time before upgrading the drivers, why I think so, never add that happen before and i add those features turned off.

Yeah I experienced something similar when enabling VSR and GPU scaling. Some times black screens and other times the whole Radeon settings menu goes transparent and I have to reboot my rig to get things back to normal.

A shame I cant report this stuff or generate reports to AMD cause their report error/problem link in the client 404's in my browser and the link from google just sits there spinning it's wheels with a segmented loading line :(

Interesting issue you two had like that. I never had seen like that but except I only see is when every time I shut down my PC. The screen goes blink one time. I know it's a weird bug, but that doesn't bothers at me since it's very minor issue.

I had a lot of problems with Blu-Ray 3D support with my 980ti I never had with my 290x before. I managed to make it work, but it's still not perfect.
Both brands have problems.
