Programming the Remote Wonder

At some point I thought I saw a programmable feature that allowed onw to set the skip time (fast forward) when using the File player. I want to be able to set it to something like 30 second increments for skipping commercials in recorded TV shows. Can someone point me to where that is, or did I just imagine that feature?

Thanks
Mike

Open the remote wonder software. Where it says Program Buttons you have 2 choices: One Set For All Features, or Specific to the current active feature. Choose the Specific to currently. The chang ethe drop down box that says when XXXXX is in focus to say file player. Pick the button you want to skip forward and select skip forward in the drop down menu.

Woops! Looks like I replied to your double-post, jagnut.

Muffzilla (nice nic btw ;) ), can you really select the amount of time you want to fast forward with the procedure you outlined? I gotta check that out when I get home!

Thanks,
jawgee

Followed your steps, but still dont see where to set the lenght of skip. I am sure I have seen or read that you can do it. Any thoughts?

I don't believe you can set the amount of time. When I replied, I only looked briefly at the remote wonder software. Actually, you don't have to set the buttons for anything. Just hold the fast forward button down and let go at the desired part. The longer you hold it, the further ahead it will skip. Hope this is of some help.
