Wasn't sure if I should put this in the gaming section or the software section since it relates to both.
I was looking for something to mute or lower the volume of itunes and whatever game I am playing whenever I use my microphone. I came across this program called auto-duck in real time. I am not sure if there are other ways to do what I wanted to do, but this program works great. Just thought I would share it here, in case someone else was ever looking for something similar. It has unlimited channels so it's very flexible, and it is super easy to use. It has a free trial, but the full version runs $19.
I am not paid to post this btw, and I am not getting any of that mad autoduck referral money lol. I just found it super useful when playing BF4, and imagine it would be useful for other team games or MMO's where you want to listen to music but still want to use your mic and hear what is going on.It is also really useful for streaming games.
