Professional Farmer: Cattle and Crops

Who plays farm sims? They are a nice mellow change and relaxing to play.

I just got Pure Farming on a $4 sale (its over now) and its ok but not nearly as interesting looking as CnC.

This CnC title appears to be nicely different than that main stream milking behemoth farming game out there.

Much more detail and specifics to CnC but has a side affect of less variety.

Heck, just driving the tractor appears to be an interesting chore as most of the buttons and levers seem to function.

Anyone buy and play this?

I'm waiting for a pending GoG sale, then will probably get it.

as always, you can get a (steam)key for that for around 6-9 bucks already. That being said i never understood the appeal of "realistic" farm sims (or bus driver), but of course that's just me. If you're into that kinda stuff, go ahead and have fun

yea.. not sure the appeal of having a "work" sim game for fun lol.

I work for 8-10hours a day..I want to chill when gaming, not "work"

If you've played any GTA type game you should see the appeal.

You are 'working' even more so in GTA. Driving around and doing things for usually money.

In the farming games you can at least hire and assign people to do your work allowing for more strategy management. Whereas in GTA, you are pretty much forced to do all the work yourself.
